We helped Grandma pick strawberries from her garden last week (and spinach and lettuce and snap peas too!)
On the way to the patch...

A word about these strawberries- most of them are the size of raspberries, and they taste like
real strawberries, if you know what I mean. They smell heavenly, and eaten warm and fresh off the stem are like little bits of summer.

Lucy was just like Sal from "Blueberries for Sal", eating every berry she picked. We had to remind her that we wanted to save the ones in the tupperware for Papa.

And the next day, for Father's Day- served over french toast with syrup- so good!
