Blueberry Picking

That is me standing on the blueberry porch, where you get blueberries.

That is my sister, Clara, outside of the porch, cause they put lots of pinwheels there.

And that is us walking to go get the blueberries. And do you know how hot it was? It was almost 100.

That is my sister picking blueberries in my Grandma's hat.

That is my sister picking blueberries again.

Clara and the book

We are long overdue for a video of Clara talking, so here's a fun one. You'll just have to ignore how many times I ask her if she wants to tell me a story. She was doing it before, but clearly story-telling time was over, Mama! I love how she notices the staples, and her different expressions.

Lucy's play- The Great Kapok Tree

Captions by Lucy, again: This is the great Kapok tree that was in my play, cause I did one. The end.
Can you guess what I was? It has white and red feathers, on the hat too. I'm wrapping myself around my daddy's arm. The end.

So this is my sister, Clara. She's sitting with my daddy. See the big, gray flower in the back? Babies might not see it.

So in this story, I will say, I'm a Macaw. So, I went "caw, caw, caw" cause I was a Ma-caw. And my saying was, "Senor, you must not chop down this tree. Soon the forest will disappear". And my other line was, "Senor, did you know that half of the plants and animals live in the rain forest?" And the other one was, "Senor, did you know that people cut down 125 acres of rain forest every minute?" And my last one was, "Did you know that without the rain forest, there would be no chocolate and no coffee?"

E- I like the look on Lucy's face in this picture. :)

This is my grandma sitting next to me on the bench. Bye-bye. She has white hair, just to remind you.

This is my grandma wrapping her arm around my mom's friend, Lucinda. She has the brown hair, just to

Green and beautiful all around

It's a wonderful time of year here! Here are a few recent pictures, including some from an impromptu photo shoot this afternoon. Lucy wrote the captions again- I love her descriptions and little asides.
This is me, Lucy, and my little sister Clara. If you look up closely, which my mom just showed me now when we were writing the captions, we were making funny faces. This was at our friend's house, Lucinda.

This is my sister, walking on the rock by herself with bare feet. She's walking so well by herself and her hair is wrinkled with glitter. Bye, bye- this is the end of this caption. (People might laugh about this.)
This is me jumping on the rocks at my friend Lucinda's house. She has horses in her backyard at the very back you can see the gate.

This is me walking at the beach. I'm wearing my goggles and my sister has her little blue swim diaper on.

E- we had one day warm enough to swim, and then it was cold and rainy last weekend. But should be swimming weather again next weekend- such variable weather!

This is me, trying to zip my sister's coat. See my daddy's arm hanging there? Or it might be by mommy's arm. You could try to guess. She always is smiling when I undo the zipper and could not do it. I'm bending down with a helmet on.

This is Clara reading a book. And Tiana is sitting next to my little sister.

This is me standing in the backyard next to my sister Clara. See the sun- isn't is so beautiful behind us?

On this picture, we are sitting down on the lawn with our little bubble things. We both have crocs on. Clara has a long sleeve shirt and pants. It's very hot out there. See the sun shining on us? I have blonde hair, my name is Lucy, and I have short sleeve shirt and a skirt and dark pink crocs. My sister has light pink crocs.

A walk in the park- spring is here!

Some fun pictures from a recent walk in the park- it has been gorgeous, with lots of flowering trees. Captions by Lucy.

This is where the arboretum is. It is very beautiful and lots of flowers have bloomed.

This is Clara holding up a baby leaf. They are so beautiful at our house. A lot of them have bloomed in our back trees.

That is me- I'm walking or jumping or running on that log. It is so hard. You might want to do it or come. It is very beautiful.

This is my sister, Clara, standing up high on the rock.

I took that picture. See right there on the log with the green stuff on it- that's called moss- there are two baby turtles. And then there are two grown-up turtles. If you do not see them just call us. I mean don't call us.

This is some beautiful leaves that my mom took a picture of.  The pond is in the background with the beautiful trees.

E- Lucy and Clara having fun climbing on a log, with Papa's help.

We were sitting there on the grass at the arboretum. I was sitting on my mom's lap, resting and eating a little kid's apple. My mom had a lot of coughs then. You might think this is funny. My dad was sitting on the bench, you can't see him in the picture. That's my sister looking at my mom.
